1300 anniversary celebrations

Throughout the year, we are holding a series of celebratory events marking our church’s 1300th anniversary.

Concert by the Millennium Orchestra. 7.30pm at St Monica’s concert hall, Cote Lane. £8.00

Sunday 19 March
Confirmation service led by Bishop Lee

Lent evening sermons using church artefacts as the starting point (Saracen’s Head, Commonwealth Plate, Bishop Carpenter’s head)

Good Friday Craft for 4-10yrs, The College

Easter Sunday with Bishop Lee preaching

Concert by Westbury Singers and Westbury-on-Trym Parish Church Choir with the Dorian Chamber Ensemble, 7.30pm more details

Community Fair Wellie Art launch

Beating the Bounds + picnic. 14 miles (approx.) around the original parish boundary. Walkers from the adjoining parishes will join in for all or part of the walk.

29 – 31 May
Half term pilgrimage to Worcester Cathedral. Bike Ride from 29 to 31 May. Service at Worcester Cathedral 2.30pm on 31st.

Sunday 11 June
The Rt. Revd. Dr John Inge, Bishop of Worcester will preach at the 10am Eucharist (ticketed event – please contact the parish office for a free ticket), and a Lunch Reception in the Village Hall will follow. At 6.30pm we will be holding a Songs of Praise service open to all denominations.
