6.30pm - the Boys' and Girls' Choirs sing excerpts from Pergolesi's Stabat Mater
The music is full of Italian lyricism and passion with beautiful melodies, crunching harmonies and drama. They will be accompanied by the Lochrian Ensemble, a professional string quartet that has appeared on television and radio. The quartet will play Samuel Barber's celebrated Adagio as a reflection during the service. Please come and support them as we mark the start of Holy week leading to Easter.
