Open to children between the ages of 4 and 10 providing opportunities to learn about the Christian faith through a variety of craft activities, bible stories, colouring and activity sheets, usually based on the Gospel reading of the day. Younger children are welcome if their parents feel they can benefit from the activities on offer. Children gather during the first hymn and return to their parents just prior to communion.
Children are welcome to join Sunday Club whenever they are in church and parents are welcome too if their child needs help settling in.
The monthly Emmaus Sunday, often combined with a Baptism, children attend the whole service which is more informal and accessible for children. On Emmaus Sundays there is no Club, but worksheets and colouring are available to be used in the pews. There is also a book box for children to explore on the carpeted area at the back of church.
Who runs Sunday Club?
Sunday Club is provided by fully DBS-checked volunteers from the Church who will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.
