Sunday Club

Sunday Club meets during our 10am Sunday service to learn about the Christian faith. We do this through various craft activities, Bible stories and colouring/activity sheets, which are usually based on the Gospel reading of the day. Sometimes, we meet outside in the churchyard, so do please bring a coat.

Who’s it for?

Sunday Club is open to children aged 4–10, but younger children are welcome if their parents feel that they can benefit from the activities on offer. Children can join Sunday Club whenever they are in church, and parents are welcome too if their child needs help settling in.

We gather during the first hymn and the children return to their parents just before Holy Communion.

When’s it on?

Please check the calendar to see when Sunday Club is on. When it isn’t running, we provide activity sheets for children at the back of the church. There is also a carpeted space in front of St Paul’s Room at the back of the church, where the children can play with toys.

We look forward to welcoming you and your children!

Who runs it?

Sunday Club is provided by fully DBS-checked volunteers from the church.

We are more than happy to answer any questions that you might have, and offer a warm welcome if you would like to join the team.

Teaching children to pray

Teaching children to pray is an invaluable gift that they can carry with them throughout life. Giving children the time and space to pray creatively helps them connect with God.

Take a look at our Ways to Pray booklet – produced by the Prayer Ministry team – for some ideas to help you and your children get started.
