Christian Aid exists to create a world where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty. The charity works with people of all faiths and none, never gives money to governments and is the official development agency of 41 church denominations in Britain and Ireland.

Christian Aid Week 2026

This year, Christian Aid Week will run from Sunday 10th May to Saturday 16th May 2026. The focus country is Kenya and Christian Aid’s partner organisation there, Beacon of Hope.

This faith-based NGO works on projects that create economic opportunities and strengthen the social wellbeing of communities living in Nairobi’s informal settlements.

Last Year’s Christian Aid Week

Christian Aid Week 2025 was a resounding success, raising a grand total of £4,256.30 including Gift Aid! Thank you to everyone who donated – whether you were staffing stalls, baking cakes, delivering envelopes or contributing money, it all made a huge difference.
