Baptisms take place at Westbury-on-Trym Parish Church throughout the year, except during Advent and Lent.
Baptisms take place at midday on Sundays or during the 10am Sunday morning service. At both services, the baptism candidate is welcomed wholeheartedly as a member of our church family. Please have a look through the Baptism Leaflet below for further information about the baptism services.
In order to be able to have your child baptised at Westbury-on-Trym Parish Church, you need to be one of the following:
• a regular worshipper here
• on the parish church’s electoral roll
• reside within the boundaries of the parish – please note the parish boundaries are different to the Royal Mail’s definition of ‘Westbury-on-Trym’ so you need to check with the parish office to see if your road is within the parish
• or have a significant connection with the church here.
In the first instance, please contact the Parish Office to check whether it is possible for your child to be baptised in the church here. The Parish Office is open from Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 12.30pm, and the parish secretary, can be contacted on 0117 950 8644.
