Bells and Bellringers

The bells of Holy Trinity ring out each Sunday calling worshippers to the service. The bells are rich with tradition and history and have been an integral part of parish worship for over 500 years.

The Holy Trinity tower houses six bells in the key of C that are the heaviest bells in that key within Bristol. The tower is also home to a friendly bunch of bell ringers who practise teamwork and comradeship whenever the bells are required and sometimes out of hours too!

The bells of Holy Trinity also ring out on Christmas Eve as they have over the centuries to remind people of the true meaning of Christmas. We welcome you and trust that you will find your visit to our church rewarding in many ways.

Times of Ringing

Ringing for Sunday services takes place from 9.30am to 10am and from 6pm to 6.30pm. A weekly practice is held on Tuesdays from 7.30pm to 9pm and on Mondays from 7pm to 9pm for beginners.
