Junior Choir

We are excited to announce that we will be starting a brand-new Junior Choir in September 2026, which will run weekly after a school day (day TBC) during term-time. It is free to attend, and is for children aged 7 to 12 who would like to:
- Develop their singing and performance skills.
- Benefit from free musical training.
- Learn both modern and traditional songs.
- Make some friendships.
No singing experience is necessary, so why not see if your child would like to come along and give it a go?
To register your interest, please contact our Family Worker, Georgie, on familyworker@westbury-parish-church.org.uk.
Girls’ and Boys’ Choir
Our Girls’ and Boys’ Choir is also for children aged from 7 years, offering musical, vocal and religious education following the Royal School of Church Music’s Voice for Life scheme.
The choir is open to children from the parish, local schools and wider community, and rehearses on Tuesdays from 6pm until 7.15pm at the church. The Girls’ and Boys’ Choir is supported by adult soprano and alto singers who help to run and administrate the choir, and provide vocal support.
Why join?
- Get a fantastic musical education, led by the professional team of musicians at Holy Trinity Church.
- Follow the Voice for Life scheme, earning medals and ribbons as you learn more.
- Get paid to sing at weddings and Sunday services.
- Learn skills that will give lifelong enjoyment as a singer in choirs and choral societies.
- Contribute to the worship at church and benefit from religious instruction.
Choir leaders are fully DBS-checked, and choir robes, music and folders are all provided.
For information about joining, you can contact David Ogden at info@davidogden.co.uk or speak to him after a 10am Sunday morning service.
Adult Choir
The Adult Choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 6 until 7pm and sings with the Girls’ and Boys’ Choir at Sunday morning Eucharist, and Evensong services during term-time.
CD recordings
The Adult Choir, together with the Girls’ and Boys’ Choir, has recorded two CDs, which are available to purchase online and from the Parish Office.
Trinity Singers
The Trinity Singers is a mixed adult four-part choir which sings Evensong on special occasions, and on occasional special services such as Good Friday. Singers must be experienced, good sight readers and are auditioned – if you would like to know more, please contact David.
Choral Group
Westbury-on-Trym Choral Group provides opportunities for singers of a wide range of ages and abilities to sing at special occasions throughout the year, including the Advent Carol Service and the Service of Nine Lessons and Carols. No audition is required.

As with all the church’s activities, the children’s choirs are run under the Church of England’s Safe and Sound guidelines, and the staff are DBS-checked.
