Teatime Church

Our Next Service

November’s Teatime Church is taking place at 4pm on Sunday 10th November, which is Remembrance Sunday. Remembrance Sunday is held on the nearest Sunday to November 11th (Remembrance Day). At this service, we will be thinking about how important peace and friendship are. There will be age-appropriate activities to engage with, including building a large peace wall, making poppies for a peace tree, finding/fishing for peace stones and making friendship bracelets. We will also be handing out Children’s Society collection candles at this service, ready to fill and bring along to the Christingle Service on Sunday 8th December at 4pm

On Sunday 22nd December at 10am, children from Teatime Church and Sunday Club will be leading a special Christmas Service. If you would like to get involved, please speak to one of us at the next Teatime Church Service.

Welcome!

What Is Teatime Church?

Our Teatime Church Service is a fun, friendly and informal gathering aimed at young families, but all are very welcome. We meet once a month from 4pm to 5.15pm at the back of Holy Trinity Church. There are plenty of fun craft activities for children, a dedicated baby and toddler corner, child-friendly worship songs, games, a monthly Lego challenge and a short presentation/story and time for reflection/action prayer followed by a yummy supper for the children and hot drinks and cakes for the adults. There is plenty of opportunity for children to move around and make some noise, enjoying the beautiful church surroundings while learning about God’s love for them all.

Teatime Church is a service that the whole family can enjoy together and is a wonderful place of fellowship, friendship, fun and faith. It’s a great way to meet other local families and learn a bit more about God and the church. If you’re interested in coming along, please email me, Georgie, for more details at familyworker@westbury-parish-church.org.uk.

Teatime Church is particularly suitable for families – in whatever shape or form – with young children (primary school age and below).

Teatime Church Dates

All services run from 4pm to 5.15pm at the back of the church unless otherwise stated. Families are welcome to join us for as long as they wish.
